Cadet Vocational Qualification Organisation (CVQO)

CVQO is a registered charity responsible for managing Vocational Qualifications for members of the Combined Cadet Force, Sea Cadet Corps, Army Cadet Force and Air Training Corps.

CVQO is dedicated to helping both cadets and instructors of the Cadet Forces get ahead personally and professionally. The qualifications on offer have been designed to show employers and educators the wide range of skills that young people and adults learn in the Cadet Forces.

Regimental Sergeant Major Mark Walsh, of 33 Cadet Company Royal Anglian Regiment in Woodford Green, City of London & North East Sector ACF, has been awarded with his BTEC First Diploma in Public Services, having achieved an impressive Distinction grade. The qualification, administered by CVQO and the Army Cadet Force, has given Mark the equivalent of four GCSEs graded A*-C.

He was presented with his certificate by the Deputy Lieutenant for Redbridge, Colonel Alan Hall TD DL, on the 1 December.
