2381 Sqn, HQ Devon and Somerset Wing Air Training Corps, recently held their annual dinner and awards evening. The event was held at the Lordleaze Hotel in Chard on the 21st March 2009.

On Sunday 15th March 2009, 13 cadets from the RAF Section of Maidstone Grammar School CCF won the National Ground Training Competition at RAF Cranwell for an unprecedented 8th time in the competition’s 25 year history. 

344 (Fulham) Sqn ATC have been awarded the coveted Shackleton Trophy, which is awarded by the Shackleton Foundation to the ATC squadron which undertakes the best overseas expedition. The trophy was presented to the Squadron by Air Chief Marshall, Sir David Parry Evans at a special ceremony attended by the Cadets, their parents, and military and local dignitaries.
