Your voluntary work can be rewarded through awards which CVQO has successfully mapped to tri-service military courses. Your attendance on many of these courses means you have already achieved up to 75% of the award requirements. CVQO offers a progressive Adult Awards Programme which enables you as a member of cadet staff to gain recognition for the commitment you have already made to the Cadet Forces. These awards are subsidised by the individual Services in recognition of the value of cadet staff. And what's more, these awards are already great value. Through CVQO you would pay a third of the comparative cost of applying directly through City & Guilds and a fifth of the cost compared to enrolling for an ILM Level 3 qualification.
Valued & Supported
CVQO offers modern learning methods with practical application, attaching tangible value to the work that you do. You benefit and employers benefit. So why not make the most of your hobby? We will provide you with as much support as you need to reach your end goal. This is just some of the support on offer when you undertake an award through CVQO.
You need to know that you won't be on your own and that help is there when you need it. You can turn the knowledge and experience you have gained through your Cadet Force activities into an award widely recognised by employers without ever having to sit an exam.
No Exams
All of our awards are mapped to cadet courses that you do as part of your hobby. The learning schedule is convenient and allows you to fit your learning around other commitments so you can study at your own pace. There aren't even any enrolment deadlines to worry about. The variety of awards on offer is diverse and constantly expanding.
Your Future
These awards are the perfect way to continue your personal and professional development and a great way to demonstrate to your employer the value of your hobby and your willingness to invest in your future. Many cadet volunteers have gained promotion, pay rises or changed their careers entirely off the back of their new award. The best part is that, in the main, you don't need any formal qualifications to gain an award.
