The Level 3 BTEC NATIONAL AWARD. CERTIFICATE or DIPLOMA IN PUBLIC SERVICES mixes theory and practical elements with an emphasis on leadership, teamwork, communications, problem solving and fitness. This internationally respected qualification is to equivalent A level standard.
The syllabus develops many valuable life skills. Cadets learn citizenship, team leading and government, combined with an exciting combination of outdoor activities.
Cadets must be 16 to enrol for this National qualification. In addition to existing Cadet activities, Cadets are required to complete the course syllabus which includes supervised adventure training activities and occasional weekend training. All coursework is assessed by Edexcel.
